* indicates a ‘tick’ pub, ** indicates a tick ‘GBG’ pub. (GBG, means the ‘Campaign for real ale’, 2012 ‘Good Beer Guide’) no * means a previously visited pub.

June 1st – * The Old Success Inn, Sennen Cove, Cornwall.

June 2nd – * The Cable Station Inn, Porthcurno, Cornwall.

June 3rd – * The Kings Arms, Paul, Cornwall.

June 4th – * The Red Lion, Newlyn, Cornwall.

June 4th – ** Admiral Benbow, Penzance, Cornwall.

The Inside of the marvellous Admiral Benbow, with pub dog keeping a watching eye out for unwanted visitors, lager drinkers etc!

June 4th – ** The Crown, Penzance, Cornwall.

June 16th – The Elephant, Pangbourne, Berkshire.

June 23rd – ** The Perch and Pike Inn, South Stoke, Berkshire.

June 30th – **Highwayman, Yateley, Hampshire.

PUB OF THE MONTH: The Crown, Penzance.  An unassuming back street boozer. Very friendly, and with beers from the landlords new brewery ‘Cornish Crown’. The weaker of the two beers, simply called ‘Ale’ was superb, very hoppy and tasty.
